UK announces tariff suspensions for food, kerosene and fertilisers
The UK plans 0% standard tariffs from November 26, 2026 on 101 listed agri-food products and kerosene until December 31, 2028, and on listed fertilisers until December 31, 2027. The consultation response says legislation will implement the suspensions. The suspensions exclude Russian and Belarusian goods and do not remove VAT or trade-remedy duties.
US issues antidumping and countervailing duty orders on Chinese van-type trailers
Commerce published antidumping and countervailing duty orders on covered Chinese van-type trailers and subassemblies on October 28, 2026. The orders list a 129.73% antidumping cash-deposit rate after subsidy offsets and a 134.75% countervailing cash-deposit rate. Deposit collection resumes from the October 20, 2026 publication of the ITC's final injury determination.
